This Easy Lemon Shandy is about as easy as it gets to make and it’s known the world over as a popular potion of pure pleasure.
- 2 cups lemonade
- 1 (16-ounce) bottle lager beer
- Sliced lemons and fresh mint for garnish
- Pour 3 to 4 ounces of lemonade into each glass and top with about 2 to 3 ounces of beer.
It really all started several years ago, when I saw this recipe for Apricot Shandy from Spa Bettie. It piqued my curiosity. Shamefully, I really did nothing about it. That is until last year, when the hubby and I were vacationing in Hawaii. I spotted a grapefruit Shandy on the bar menu. I immediately ordered it and fell in love. Of course I thought, now why did I take so long to try a Shandy?
The hubby loved the grapefruit Shandy too. It got me thinking, a lemon Shandy would be so refreshing, I must give it a try. This time, I wasted no time and whipped up this Lemon Shandy to sip on while my baby girl was cooking dinner.
You can seriously enjoy this any time of the year. It’s smooth and delicate on the palate.
