You can make this Easy Vanilla Tea using a blend of plain tea, wonderful vanilla, and spices to create the perfect mug for late night, morning, or really any time of day at all!You guys, I have sad news for all of you.  Well it is sad for me.  It was recommended by my physician to stay away from caffeine and chocolate.  My two favorite vices.  So sad for me to hear that.

But I can always figure out a way to put a positive spin on a negative situation.  Fortunately, for me, I do enjoy tea as well.

Tea really has a nice calming effect and is perfect almost any time of the day.  So I say, move over coffee and chocolate and make room for tea.

Easy Vanilla Tea

Ingredients
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 1 black tea bag
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla bean sugar (I used Hula Girl)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
  1. Pour boiling water into a mug.
  2. Steep tea bag in water for 3 minutes; remove and discard.
  3. Stir milk, sugar, vanilla extract, and cinnamon into the tea.

  1. Have you found any nice caffiene-free teas? I wouldn’t mind trying some, especially for nightime drinking. Black caffiene-free tend to be meh, at least the ones I’ve had.

  2. This tea sounds delicious. I don’t have to stay away from chocolate or coffee (thankfully), but I think I would love this tea anyway. The photo is stunning also!
