This incredible Turkey Half Breast is moist, delicious and uses only 5 ingredients.  The best part is you can let the slow cooker do all the work.

Five-Ingredient Slow Cooker Turkey Half Breast

  • 4 lb bone-in turkey breast
  • 1/2 Tablespoon olive oil
  • Salt
  • Lemon Pepper
  • 3 shallots, halved
  • 4 garlic cloves, peeled and smashed
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  1. Rinse turkey and pat dry with paper towels.
  2. Rub olive oil over turkey. Sprinkle with salt and lemon pepper.
  3. In a skillet on medium-high heat, brown the turkey breast, meaty side down.
  4. Place, meaty side up, in slow cooker.
  5. Place shallots and garlic around side of cooker.
  6. Cover and Cook on low 8 hours,
  7. Remove from slow cooker and let stand 10 minutes before slicing.
5 PP per 4 ounce serving

  32. Hello, this looks wonderful! However I can only find 2.5 lb half breasts. Can I roast two in the 5 QT slow cooker that I have? Do you still recommend the same cooking time? Does this make a gravy as well since I noticed you added some broth in. THANKS!

    • I never tried making it with two, but I don’t see why not. You shouldn’t need to increase the time to cook at all. You could use some of the dripping as a base for a gravy, if you want. Enjoy and let me know how it turns out.
