Pancakes or waffles, they are calling my name. I have just the right kind of syrup you can use that is light and tasty too.
I made a Honey Vanilla Syrup to pour on your pancakes or waffles. Yes, you can use the honey straight out of the bottle, but this method definitely makes it easier to pour.
- 1/2 cup honey
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
- Warm the water in the microwave or on your stove top. Do not boil it.
- Add the honey and vanilla.
- Stir, remove from heat.
- Store in a jar in the fridge
My Oat Waffles recipe will appear on the Grain Mills blog on July 7, if you want the recipe.
I topped my waffles with my Strawberry Conserve and drizzle the Honey Vanilla Syrup over that.
Thanks for stopping by and have a honey of a day.
