I was lucky enough to be selected to receive a free QUART of Tropical Traditions Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil. And one of my lucky readers will receive one too.

With that said, did you know that coconut oil has various applications for food, medicine and industry. Coconut oil is very heat-stable, which makes it a great method for cooking at high temperatures like frying. It’s neutral flavor makes it a great choice for baking too.
It oxidizes slowly, and lasts up to two years. I actually have used coconut oil in several recipes in the past with great success.
I encourage you to enter this giveaway, try my recipe below, and you will become a fan of this incredible coconut oil.
This giveaway is open to US and Canadian residents.
Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!
Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?
Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.
I used Tropical Traditions Gold Label Coconut Oil to stir fry my beef. I also used it the process of making my steamed rice.
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add the Coconut oil and brown the beef
- Add the garlic and sauté for a couple more minutes.
- Add brown sugar, soy sauce, black bean garlic sauce, salt, pepper and red peppers flakes.
- Simmer for a few minutes to blend the flavors. Serve over steamed rice and top with green onions.
and additional 5 PP per 1 cup of steamed rice
The hubby went bonkers over this stir fry. When there are no leftovers at my house, you know that it’s great. He said, that I MUST MAKE THIS AGAIN, it was that good.
