IN HONOR OF THE CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD SERIES.
The San Francisco Giants.
Here it is Sunday evening. We had an absolutely wonderful brunch at Scott’s Seafood in Oakland. The weather was picture perfect and the local farmer’s market was in full swing. We were out celebrating my mother’s 85th birthday. She was so thrilled to see there was a farmer’s market and let everyone one know that she wouldn’t be leaving until she bought some fresh fruits and veggies. I bought blackberries, strawberries and raspberries. They smelled so sweet.
When we got back, we were all so lazy from the abundance of food and free-flowing mimosa’s.
We all knew that we wanted to watch the San Francisco Giants play, so I decided to make one of the boys’ favorites. Individual Nacho Cups. I made them for Cinco De Mayo, and they are still a big hit with the family.
- 6 ounces lean ground beef (93/7)
- ⅓ cup water
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning
- Dash hot pepper sauce
- 28 baked Tostitos scoops
- ¼ cup shredded reduced-fat Mexican cheese blend
- ½ cup pico de gallo
- Chopped cilantro
- You can get the rest of the instructions by clicking on the link above.
I re made them to showcase our Love for the San Francisco Giants.
My mother is a huge San Francisco Giants fan so this win made her birthday extra special.
Your day sounds lovely. Congrats on the Giants win! I am not a sports person and didn’t know who the giants were until I was in San Fran and it was all over the news. I was so happy to hear they won! Oh and nacho cups=yum!
Thanks so much Christi. Yes, we all love our Giants. And the Nacho cups, I can’t seem to ever make enough. Plus the fact that most of the cups are broken in the bag. Maybe its a ply to get you to buy two bags. How was your trip to Oregon?
