I had a fantastic time at the Food Buzz Festival this weekend.  This first post I will recap Day One, and tomorrow I will recap day two.

Jennifer and I started out by take Bart into San Francisco.  We arrived at the Palace Hotel and it was absolutely lovely and a great historical building.  We were hungry so we decided to head to Belden Place for a quick bite before we register for the event.  We at Darn Good Food and split a salad and sandwich.  It was perfect fuel to recharge.

Then we walked over toe Macy’s and had our makeup done up.  It was a lot of fun.  Next stop, the Sir Francisc Drake Hotel to register and get our great swag, from some great sponsors, such as Nature Box, California Walnuts and Ghirardelli.

We went back to our rooms to get dressed for the cocktail party at the Starlight Lounge inside the Sir Francis Drake Hotel.

After cocktails, we were provided with cash and it partnership with Open Table, had the opportunity to dine anywhere we chose.  We ended up at Unicorn Pan Asian.

So that concludes day one.  Tomorrow I will cover Day 2 of the fest, which includes,  the scavenger hunt, the chocolate factory tour, the tasting pavilion and the gala dinner.
