Today was a wonderful Friday. I took the day off work. My first order of the day was meeting Jennifer of Peanut Butter and Peppers for a cup of coffee. We are both planning of attending the Food Buzz Fest in San Francisco in October. It was so great to meet her. Together we are going to make that food fest a blast!
Next on my agenda was having lunch with a wonderful woman I met back when I was unemployed. We were a group of professionals working together to land even better jobs then then ones we left. I had not seen Charlene since then. That was two years ago. Would you believe we discovered we grew up in the exact same neighborhood as kids in San Francisco. Anyway, we dined at the Bronze Buddha for Thai cuisine and catching up on the past two years. Those spices had me craving chocolate. (really?!?) What a surprise.
I love chocolate. I am in LOVE with chocolate. I can’t live without chocolate. This is why I hate chocolate. My butt
hates loves chocolate too. But, thanks to Pinterest, I found this two ingredient, well three, if you include the water cake recipe. Each slice is only 5 PP (1/10 of the cake). This recipe was definitely calling my name.
What are the ingredients?
- 1 box of Devil’s food cake mix
- 1 cup Chobani Greek Yogurt, plain or vanilla
- 1 cup water
Mix all these ingredients, place in a baking pan. Bake according to your pan size and the directions on the cake mx box and voila.

Now I frosted the middle and sides and the sprinkled powdered sugar on top. These added ingredients are not included in the PP value.
